Until 2023, Silverdale Athletic Football Club had no issues with trespassing or vandalism, but the latest attack is one of two that have occurred within the last six months. Unfortunately the CCTV footage around the clubhouse doesn’t film the entire grounds, so a police investigation is underway to catch the culprits. Around £6,000 worth of damage has been inflicted on property belonging to the Silverdale Athletic Football Club after yobs broke into the pitches on Sunday, October 29. Vandals have destroyed goalposts and bent and knocked down fencing on the grounds of a popular football club in North Staffordshire.
